Oil Spill Conference Nigeria (OSCN) was founded by an Engineer, Professor Sylvester Egwu who has a deep-seated interest and passion for humanity and sustainable development and environment in 2012. The discovery of oil in Nigeria came as good news for its economic reasons but turned out to be evil with accompanying spate of oil pollution and its attendant severe environmental degradation. The enormous degradation has left the Niger Delta environment battered till today.
